
Here is another article from World War 2 that clearly displays Greenfield Park’s War effort. It shows the six Burchmore brothers who left their wives and family behind to serve our country. They were Robert, Edward, Arthur, Norman, Homer and Gordon Burchmore of Greenfield Ave. The clipping is from the Montreal Star September 2, 1944.
All of the Burchmores returned unscathed to Canada and the Park at the end of the war.
