Prairie Moments by Doug G.

Its march and its beginning to feel like spring. A warm chinook wind is sucking up what is left of the snow even though the temperature is just above freezing.
When it does eventually come, spring is a good word to describe the growth of vegetation. From 3 feet above the prairie it takes your breath away as it literally springs from a lethargic brown grey to various brilliant shades of green.Catus shoot forth a sudden short burst of bright yellow and red flowers. At least that's what has happened for that past 2 years as we have had lots of rain. I'm looking out the window and waiting for it to look like the pictures again
Catch you later
