Prairie Moments by Doug Garrett

Yesterday the sun was warm in the heavens and there were sure signs of spring. The view from 3 feet shows deer and Canada Geese warming up and the heavy morning traffic on our main bridge across the South Saskatchewan River.
Today we took a spin out to ElkWater Park about 45 minutes away When the Glaciers scoured out this region, they left an" Island" of area as it was prior to that period. You would not believe that such an area exists in the prairies but it does and it is as though a piece of the Rocky Mountains had drifted east and ran aground.
Some pictures will follow
Catch you later

Thanks Doug G. for sharing these pics with us
