My Corner of the World

I thought that you might like to see a little of the area where I live, being so very far from Greenfield Park. I am at a place called Noosa Heads on the Sunshine Coast about 2 hours driving north of Brisbane. In Australia, Noosa is renowned for its wonderful semi-tropical climate, national parks, the beautiful Noosa River, lush hinterland and ocean beaches that stretch about 50 kilometres in each direction north and south of the Noosa Heads. The Noosa River connects several saltwater lakes that are popular for boating, fishing, swimming, etc. The north shore stretches north of the river up to Double Island Point. It is mostly national park but you can drive a 4WD vehicle on the beach. There are some great views of the river and the north shore from Noosa Hill as shown in the photos. I live on the south side of Noosa Heads. Next week we will have a little tour of the southern beaches and the hinterland.

Thanks Bob Godefroy for sharing these wonderful pics with us.
