Yesterday, (Sunday) I went for the first time to the 3rd (Annual Long
Lunch) held in Warkworth, a little town near Campbellford.
They close off the main street; in the middle of the road arrange in a
row are tables with red and white table cloths, setting on each table a
maple syrup can with fresh garden and wild flowers. Adults $15 *
Children $6

The " Food Court," was set up in a driveway in a large tent where you
pick up your hot and cold lunch, after you have eaten you then walk to
the old Town Hall to pick up a piece of home made pie and a drink. The
entertainment was a walking parade playing music while you were eating,
great little parade all hand made costumes. Young boys walk along with
the parade handing out free candies.

Proceeds from the lunch is to support the next phase of the Main Street
project.
Interesting little stores were open, I think they also do very well on
that day.

Nice outing with a community spirit, I will go again next year.
