Hi Folks,
I want to send my sincere thanks to all the renion attendees for their kind warm hospitalty.
Also a very special thanks to Larry & Heather (Hubbard) Cooper and Heather's sister Shirley for their warm Thursday evening at their home. They made my wife feel like she belonged here and very welcome. What an evening after 42 years.
A Friday morning wake up call From Heather (Blain) Gibb started another very special day with a lunch invitation to her home. We arrived at Heather's and she was waiting for us at the front door. Again some forty years since we saw each other, but it seemed like last week.
Surprises never end as a few minutes later her brother Alvoy and her mother showed up and to top that Sandy & Brian Robinson showed up as well. What an afternoon! My wife had a blast with all the stories that were told. Heather's mother Alice was just warming up and then she started with some of the most funny stories about her life in Brighton.
She had all of us in stiches. Great afternoon and thanks for the memories.. we then headed back to the Motel for a quick fresh up then it was back to Heather Cooper's for the BBQ and another fantastic event.
I think my wife decided thursday night that she was going to attend next years reunion.
