More Thanksgiving Wishes

Hi Marty, I want to wish all Parkers, near and far, a Happy Thanksgiving. I am personally grateful that my parents chose to live in Greenfield Park and raise their children in such a giving, caring and concerned community. I give thanks that we were inculcated with values that have stood us all in good stead as we grew through childhood to adulthood and now for some of us into our senior years.

I give thanks for the friendships that were formed in those days long ago and endure to the present. I am especially grateful that the internet has allowed you and your blog to reunite us ex-pat GFPK'ers with other ex-pats and with those who still reside in THE PARK. In spite all of the troubles that face us in this world of today there is much to be thankful for.

And so I hope that all who read this will take a little time this weekend to count their blessings and to be grateful that in relation to other parts and peoples of this globe, we who had an opportunity to live in Greenfield Park, be it for a long or short time have many reasons to acknowledge the essence of this holiday.

JMcC

Thanks John for your kind words
