Prairie Moments

Hi Marston
Following up on your expressed desire to see some more prairie moments, we missed the greater part of them this year. When we left for Vancouver, the canolla fields were ripe and yellow for as far as the eye could see,.
( 1 st photo) The valleys with the populars were just starting their yellow colors ( 2 nd and 3 rd photo) and Hay Stack Sally had a new dress. I just had to pinch her muscles to see if they were real.

Maybe we should have named her Steel Pipe Peggie. We look forward to seeing her every time we cut off at on highway 222 from Sitsiska Nation reserve west over to Calgary South. By the time we got back, the trees are just about bare. The pioneers called this " Next year" country for a good reason
