I did get out today, the temperatures have gone from minus 26 up to zero and the 30 mile ( 60 Km ) wind has stopped. Don't you just miss it ?
The river is silent when it is frozen adding a very isolated element to the ambience. The only set of tracks in and out of the coolie are mine . I think the snow is here now until march /April. I'm sure I'll think of something to do until then
