The dates will be September 14, 15 and 16 and the agenda will be as follows: Friday night - informal get-together at Scottyz Bar on Taschereau Blvd.,
Saturday afternoon - tail-gate picnic in the Legion parking lot (gazebo available),
Saturday night - sit-down dinner at the Legion followed by a dance with a DJ.
Sunday morning -9:30 A.M. brunch at the Legion.
The cost will be $25.00 per person plus an additional $10.00 per person if you attend the brunch. The $25.00 covers the cost of the hall rental, the dinner and the DJ. It looks like there is a lot of interest in this reunion so we will be accepting reservations on a first come, first served basis.
To confirm that you will be attending please send your cheques payable to Janet Watson. You can get my mailing address and e-mail address from Marston. We have to pay the Legion up front so that is why we are asking that you send your payment in advance.
Also, this way we will be able to keep track of exactly how many are planning to attend. I will be posting more info on the Blog regarding hotel accommodations in the area. I will try to make sure that we get a good deal at one of the local hotels.
So there it is folks! Plans are underway - mark your calendars. As usual when we Parkers get together, it will be a lot of fun with lots of memories and stories (especially if Mr. Richard Hemmingway attends!)
