Henderson Furniture

HELLO MARSTON
THE HENDERSON FURNITURE FACTORY WAS NEVER DEMOLISHED. THE BUILDING IS STILL ON THE ORIGINAL SITE AND IS NOW A STORAGE RENTAL. THE BUILDING THAT NORMAND SIMARD REFERS TO AS DEMOLISHED, MEIGHEN'S, WAS AN AMMUNTION LOADING FACTORY DURING WORLD WAR 2. THE DEMOLISHED BUILDING MIEGHEN'S, AFTERWARDS, WAS USED BY VARIOUS BUSINESSES, ONE BEING A BODY SHOP, IT WAS ERASED TO MAKE WAY FOR AN ESSO AND THE GOLDEN ARCHES OF GUT BURGERS. BOTH THESE SIGHTS HAD THEIR OWN RAIL SIDING OFF THE MASSENA SUBDIVISION WHICH ALSO PASSED THROUGH CLOSE BY.50 YEARS AGO WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN FRONT AND CENTER IN OUR BRAINS-- WHAT' PLAYING AT THE SATURDAY 25 CENT MOVIES.
RICHARD..................

Thanks Richard W.
