Memory Lane

Hello Normand,
Happy New Year, and yes I am a little older that you. What great photos. I remember the Episcopal church and the Boulevard Hotel but I don't remember the Chateau Beauclaire. In the 50's the Boulevard Hotel had it's own swimming pool which if you either drove your bike or got a lift us youngsters could swim for a day for 10cents.

The final shot of the Greenfield Park Cartage card was for Conrad's. He lived on Empire but his business was in a big barn behind Doc Perras' house up a long lane from Third. Going to school us kids could hear the big band saw going at all hours cutting logs into smaller pieces for delivery to homes for their wood-burning fireplaces and stoves.

PS you should send these to Marty

Thanks To Both John and Normand for these pics
