By now you have heard that Punxsutawney Phil has predicted an early spring. Well his Canadian counterparts Wiarton Willie (the only Albino groundhog of the lot) and Shubenacadie Sam predicted it first.
Since Shubenacadie Sam is in an earlier time zone we can only surmise that Punxsutawney Phil heard the news on CBC Canada and is trying to steal the Canadians glory. Afterall cold weather comes from Canada so good news must as well.
