Just glanced at the Blog this morning and saw the aerial photo of the ice floes in the Antarctic. It made me think of the perilous experience that my son-in-law just had over the past weekend.
Master Corporal Dwayne Guay is my daughter Hillary's husband. He is a Search and Rescue Technician out of 17 Wing here in Winnipeg. This link will take you to one of the many news stories about his participation in a heroic rescue just off of Cape Perry in the NWT.
