Memory Jog

Marston

This small world, keeps getting smaller
When I saw the name " Penny Lang" on the music charts a while ago, I said to myself " I wonder if thats the little girl who used to come with her Dad and play at our gigs in Greenfield Park years ago? She wore a white stetson and a cowboy outfit, sang and played guitar. Her Dad was really into western music. I remembered her name because it was unusual. I played piano and guitar while David Vance played fiddle. His brother Eric played once in a while also. I haven't seen or heard from Dave since he got married in the late 60's. Would be interested to hear if he is in Calgary. I thought he had gone to Europe for business.. Glad to hear Penny realized her dreams. Understabndable she wouldn't remember my name, I'm delighted she remembered her experience there at all being as it was so early in her career.

Thanks for the memory jog.
