Yesterday at Scotyz there was a barbeque to raise funds for the SPCA.
There was a good turn out. One of the people there was Adam Karsh, between
the two girls inside Scotyz. He was recently on Canadian Idol and put on a
fabulous show in the Park on Canada Day.
The other shots are of people who attended. One was an old friend Dave
Armstrong who I hadn't seen in years. Dave Durocher, Bob Myles, Rhonda
Robinson and Gary McLarnon were others who turned out to support a
great cause.
Next Thursday the Mike Reid Softball Tournament begins. It's a great
place to renew old acquaintances, because a lot of people out of town Parkers
return for the four day event. I encourage everyone to head down to the
Park to have a drink to support this worthy charitable event.
