First one is Shmoo and Ray Burnett,
#2 Dennis Frappier, Lisette (Frappier) Miles, and Richard W.,
#3 Raymond B. and Ross Morley,
#4 Don and Mirella Ridewood,
#5 John G., Sandy Robinson, Mr. Duncan (teacher), and Richard W.
(I'm counting on you, Marston, to get the right names to go with the
right picture. Not sure of the proper way to send)
I'm enjoying the memories that Normand is bringing back about Smith's
Store. (Thanks so much Normand) I remember we had Mr. Cain for Literature and
once a week, Friday afternoon, he would read to the class (Huckleberry
Finn).
You could hear a pin drop, the room was so quiet aside from his voice,
and except for a little brown paper candy bags rustling, as we tried to
remove ever so secretly our candies to eat. The thing was that if you got
caught you had to forfeit your bag of candies over to him and watch him eat
the rest of them. He so enjoyed those chewy sugar-coated spearmint leaves.
He must have been in his glory!
Thanks to you Marston for bringing all this about via your blog. Have
a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone!
Margaret W.
Thanks Margaret…
