BROWN, Robert George (1930-2007). Bob passed away at his home in Mississauga early Thursday morning, December 20, 2007. He will be fondly remembered by his wife and best friend of forty-eight years, Janet Frizzell, his daughter Liane (George Loucks), sons, Jeff (Anastasia) and Doug (Kristen). He was "Pops" to Hudson, Sydney, Nathan, Tyler, and Amanda. Bob was "Uncle Bob" to sixteen nieces and nephews, and brother-in-law to eight. Predeceased by his parents Hut Brown and Ethel Keays and all seven of his siblings, Harold, Gary, Grant, Margaret, Betty, Hazel, and Jen. Bob grew up on the Gaspe Coast, taught on the South Shore of Montreal and then moved to Mississauga in 1969 where he taught in North York until he retired in 1986. Bob loved his sports, especially tennis, hockey and bowling. What better way to spend his retirement? Family and Friends may visit at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1535 South Gateway Rd. Mississauga Dixie Rd, just South of Eglinton (905)602-1580 on Saturday, December 22, 2007 from 1 to 4 p.m. Remembrances may be made in his memory to the Royal Canadian Legion #64 in New Carlisle, Quebec G0C 1Z0.
