Now Normand just relax and give me a chance to explain. The only reason I have sent you these photo's Normand is to let you know how much fun you are missing. All you have to do is be calm, enjoy life and be a little more open and fun loving. If you do these things Louise will stop getting the car washed. The paint must be wearing off by now.

I am telling you this because I am a friend. You can see by the picture taken in room 16, the Confessional, at the Canada Motel that Louise wants to stop as well.

Bonjour Marty,

I've been looking at your blog now for a couple of month. Very interesting, I enjoy it every day now. Every day at lunch I go on your site and read what you have on it.

Now, I would like you to help me with a picture I have of my dad in the '60s. He was in the Park Players and I don't know who the people he's with are and what was the play he was in. Can you look at it and help me out. My mother remembers only that he played at Royal George.

Next thing I am looking for, is a picture of the table that the town's gold book was in. See, my father made that table. It was given back to me years ago, but it was too big for me to keep, I had to get rid of it. I kept the cress that my father made that were glued on the side, but never took a picture of it. I would like to have a picture if it's possible. Does anyone have one?

At the same time, I would like to thank you for posting my Christmas Village. This is very important for my family. We think everybody should have a beautiful Christmas.

Marty,To answer Sylvie Ste-Marie's question, the play her father was in was called "My Sister Eileen". It played Oct. 23,24 and 25, 1962 at Royal George. Louis Rivers played the 1st Future Admiral. Eric Russell played the 2nd Future Admiral, Richard Royds played the 3rd Future Admiral. Her father Julien Ste-Marie played The Consul. I will scan the whole program if anyone wants to see the others in the play.

Floating Gazebo

I was going to build the Gazebo on the edge of my dock down by the lake but I thought ....I might just as well build the deck with floats on it and I can then take it out fishing too. Has 15,000# capacity..

The deck is 18ft x 18ft with 12 plastic foam filled dock floats that are 4ft x 4ft by 18 inch. high.and the Gazebo is 10 ft. Hexagon with a table and chairs inside.

Under the table is my trolling motor so I can take it out to my favorite fishing hole. The trolling motor is remote controled wireless so I can be fishing outside and operate the motor. On the top of the table I have a LOWRANCE Fish-Finder with depth sounding sonars and temp gauge.

I have 2 electric winchs with 40# anchors. I have also built in a water pump so I can clean the fish right on the spot.

Now I can relax and fish while my wife can sit and relax.

This is a story about a police officer killed in the line of duty. Two of his friends wanted to nominate him for The Cross of Valour, to be presented by our Govenor General; however this nomination could not go ahead until such time as the guy who killed the police officer had gone thru the court system, so that he could have a fair trial.

By the time his trial ended and Chris' 2 friends nominated him for the Cross of Valour - our gov. general's office refused because more than 2 years had gone by since the act of valour.

Willie the Ferrell Cat (Update)

Hi Folks,

We just want to let you know what is happening with Willie. As we have reported, Willie came to our RV in late Aug at the RV Park and was very wild. Well over time my wife was able to tame him a little each week.

At the end of Oct. we had to leave him at the RV Park but we decided to keep him fed. We took him food every 6 days and put the food in his shelter. All went well until it got colder.

It was getting harder to leave the RV Park as he would follow us halfway out of the Park. So we decided to feed him on Friday 23 and if he looked stressed, we would take him home and give it a try.

Well here he is in one of our spare rooms and doing just fine. He is doing his business in his litter boxes without any mistakes. (Our Biggest Worry).

The next step will be the Vet to check his health and then try to introduce him to the other 2 cats we have.

We will post his progress from time to time.

Wait Upon The Lord

After starting a new diet I altered my drive to work to avoid passing my favorite bakery. I accidentally drove by the bakery this morning and as I approached, there
in the window were a host of goodies. I felt this was no accident, so I prayed ... "Lord, it's up to you, if you want me to have any of those delicious goodies, create a parking place for me directly in front of the bakery." And sure enough, on the eighth time around the block, there it was!

I was looking at the pictures you sent in to the blog regarding Motel Canada and what the rooms are like today. Just for fun I enlarged the photo of room 18 so that I could have a more detailed look and I was shocked at what I saw.
