Castonguay Bicycle... The Early Years



HI MARTY, HOPE YOUR APPLE IS GOING WELL AFTER THAT VICIOUS WORM ATTACK. THESE 2 PICS ARE OF CASTONGUAY BICYCLE ON VICTORIA IN ST-LAMBERT. THEY OPENED IN 1941 THE GRAND FATHER EMILE STARTED THE STORE, HIS SON AND GRAND SON ARE STILL THERE. THE FIRST PIC IS CA 1945 THE SECOND IN 1957 YOU SEE GRAND FATHER HIS SON AND GRAND SON. I BOUGHT MY CCM TACKS SKATES IN 1962.

I THINK THEY WHERE $60.00 LOT'S OF MONEY I WAS PROUD WHEN I WALKED OUT OF THE STORE I WENT DIRECT TO EMPIRE PARK RINK TO TRY THEM.
