Confederation Bridge

Hi Marty

We've enjoyed Millie's bridge pictures a lot.
It calls to mind our last two visits to PEI and the crossing of the Northumberland Strait on the Confederation bridge.

The bridge after ten years in operation remains controversial because of its effects on the fishery and on the local economy. It is however a worthwhile
Canadian tourist experience. At almost 13 KM it is by far the longest bridge anyone can cross in this country.

PEI no matter how one gets there is a bit of a paradise too.
Since golf plays an increasing roll in the island's development plans
maybe Millie and friends could include PEI on her list of places to play and photograph.

Cheers, Ed B.

I intended to include the URL for the bridge in case it made the posting more interesting.

Thanks Ed B.
