Hi Marty.........Again this year Ralph & Millie B. gave us an Amaryllis bulb which we potted.
In December it bloomed and we ended up with five (5) really nice flowers. When they died off we cut the stem back to approx. three (3) inches high and we figured that would be it for this year. Over a period of time this marvelous plant started to grow again and here we are with four (4) new flowers very late in February!!
My question is, to all the Gfpkers and ex-Gfpkers who are up on their horticulture, is this normal or did we just luck out!!
Thanks - Win S. - ................P.S. We re-planted last years' bulb and the leaves of the plant grew but flowerless!!
Thanks Win S.
