Hello everybody ...

Please find attached copies of the press release and petition that are
currently circulating about the neighbourhood and have been forwarded to
various media.

We have confirmation that the Gazette, CJAD and CTV CFCF will be in
attendance at Monday's council meeting. The more concerned citizens in
attendance, the better! The meeting starts at 7 pm and seating may be
limited (hopefully) so get there early if you want a seat.

Kim Fraser from CJAD 800 am will be covering this story on her phone-in show
Monday afternoon from 1-2 pm. A bit of advice if you decide to phone in ...
"If you call do not disclose you name. Even make it known that you are
scared when asked by the telephone screener before you go on the air. Kim
will use our fears of identifying ourselves to get the message across that
this is very shady. More importantly we must protect ourselves from any risk
[of repercussions.]"

Jim Munro was just interviewed on CJAD as I write this (Sat 10 am) so the
publicity has already begun!

A copy of the petition will be available to sign at the arena today
(Saturday) from 3:30 pm - 9:30 pm.
