Anne of Green Gables

                100th Anniversary of "Anne of Green Gables".

 

                        I wonder how many Parkers are familiar with Laura Maude Montgomery's books about "Anne of Green Gables" - the freckle-faced

                        red-headed girl from P.E.I.?  CBC produced a beautiful series and there have been  a few musical  plays (I believe Don Herron and

                         Catherine MacKinnon were in            involved with one of its productions).  The province celebrates her 100th anniversary in June.

 

                        This video is quite interesting (note the beautiful stove in the background).
