GPK Oldtimers Hockey League

Hi Marty,

 

The attached photos are of the GPK Old timers hockey trophy. This trophy, a spittoon from the Southern County Railroad, was given to the GPK Oldtimers league champions for the first time in 1965, 43 years ago. I have been informed, by Harold Douris who is still playing, that the league really started 2 years earlier in 1963. It was presented again this past weekend to the White team for there win over the Green team. We are very proud of our league which has been hosting an Old timers tournament for the past 13 years and have raised over $150,000 for the good of the cummunity. I know that there are probably some bloggers who have played for this trophy and maybe this will bring back some memories.
