Vacation Pics

Hi Marty - In the UK they have an organization called The National Trust. Many of the great homes and estates of that nation have been given to this group by the families for whom the cost of upkeep became prohibitive. People can tour the houses - a special treat for those of us who live in western Canada where the oldest building may be reaching 100. The first place that Mavis and I visited was Petworth House, home to a marvelous collection of paintings. This magnificent estate was a joy to visit - and it was where they filmed The Remains of the Day with Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson some years ago. Pictures attached. Best _ Gus
