Win's Vacation Pics

Upon arriving in Cody, Wy. we took a brief tour of the city and eventually ended up at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center - Anything we ever wanted to know about Buffalo Bill & Annie Oakley we learned there - The period relics were quite interesting and the building itself was impressive!! - Had a nice dinner, a few drinks and took a motel for the night & - oh ya - got the car washed and vacuumed............

Shortly after starting out the next morning we came upon this restaurant/gift shop.....I was about to say something (nice I'm sure) but after glancing over at Ann and her growling "DON'T START" - I decided to keep on driving!!

The landscape was really something as you can see in the photos and until we came across the "Big Horn National Forest" sign we had no idea that we had been in it and/or were about to leave it!!

The land eventually flattened out and we had miles upon miles of rolling hills.

This highway eventually took us into the badlands and the Black Hills Nat'l. Forest - The Crazy Horse Monument near Custer, S.D. was our next stop!!
