One of our fellow alumni, Tom Jeary (C-'53) is scheduled to appear receiving the Governor General's Award, shown on Global News " Making a Difference", with Susan Hayes, 6:00 -7:00 pm Monday evening. (Oct. 20th.)
Earlier this month Tom was presented the Governor General's "Caring Canadian Award".
Tom, a popular and prolific speaker, has received many awards for his commitment to bringing a better quality of life to people with disabilities. He was voted one of this year's "King Clancy Award" winners; he is a recipient of the "Rotarian of the Year"and also voted Kitchener-Waterloo's "Citizen of the Year".
