Kind Words from Panama

Hi Marty; Greetings from Chitre in Panama. We wanted both to wish you and all bloggites a Happy and Prosperous 2009 and to congratulate you on the third anniversary of your blog. From a naughty lad at the epicentre of the notorious Devonshire Road gang of the 50's to a blogmeister with a world-wide audience - ain't life grand! 

Those of us who maintain a fondness for the town that spawned us owe you a debt of gratitude for keeping us all in touch and serving up delicious servings of memory joggers. Having a good first winter here but still haven't sorted out internet connection problems. Hence am attaching "Notes from Panama" as a way to keep in touch with folks. 

Thank you for the hard work and many hours you have put into the blog, we understand and appreciate what a committment.
