Railway Plaque 1936

HI MARTY,

LLOYD BRERETON WAS TALKING ABOUT THIS PLATE LAYED IN 1936 FOR THE CENTENNIAL OF THE CHAMPLAIN & ST. LAWRENCE RAILWAY ON THE CORNER OF VICTORIA AND RIVERSIDE IN ST. LAMBERT. IT WAS PROBABLY THAT TRAIN THAT CROSSED THE GOLF COURSE OFF TO BROSSEAU STATION.

YOU SEE OTHER PLATES LAYED ON THAT ROCK MASONRY WORK IT WAS FOR THE CENTENNIAL 1967, A PROJECT OF THE HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY OF ST.LAMBERT.

THANKS MARTY    AND LLOYD BRERETON HE OPENED MY EYES WHEN HE TALKED ABOUT THAT PLATE.

 NORMAND SIMARD

Thanks Normand
