The Tour Continues

Hi Marty,

In the state of Victoria (inland from the south coast, north west of Melbourne) is a range of rugged hills known as the Grampians. They were named by an early explorer because he fancied that they resembled the Grampian mountains in Scotland. It is an area of scenic views and a great abundance of the uniquely Australian plants and animals. For example ancient grass trees, large flocks of white cockatoos and kangaroos grazing at dusk are a common sight. Notice that one of the kangaroos has a Joey in her pouch and its tail is hanging out.

Cheers,
Bob G

Thanks Bob
