A prime example of an exceptionally popular and totally rotisserie restored Plymouth Road Runner for the 1970 model year. The car is both unique and stylish in appearance, and is equipped with numerous desirable options. Over the years this car has been restored in meticulous condition and care has been taken to maintain original specifications and keep the car a numbers matching vehicle. This is a gorgeous 1970 Plymouth Road Runner hardtop, which was a popular body style for the model year and was also the final year for Plymouth to offer a 440 six pak v-8 engine and first series styling. This vehicle with this combination is one of the most unique and desirable examples of the marque for the 1970 model year. This vehicle has had the benefit of a total and complete "rotisserie" restoration of all components which has resulted in a car that is now showroom fresh. The car has been totally restored and it is both clean and well detailed with great attention in both fit and finish . This vehicle is so unique it has spent more than 10 years in a United States museum. The sheet metal is all original, Plymouth as factory equipped  The paint finish has been redone in modern materials and is flawless, with all parts removed from the body to maintain originality and the car has been done in the original colour, the Vitamin C Orange and black vinyl top combined with the contrasting white, NOS-stock interior. This combination gives the car a stunning appearance when enhanced by optional wheels and light package. The car is equipped with selected options for the model year, including; Torqueflite automatic transmission, 440 6 pak engine option, back-up lights, heater, outside mirror on driver's side, light package, bucket seats and console, tick/tach clock, am radio, tinted glass, chrome exhaust tips and the ubiquitous Road Runner horn. This vehicle is restored to completely original. All body panels are properly aligned and hood doors and trunk function with no binding or misalignment. All locks are functional, and all instruments are operational.

The mileage shown at 99,634 mi. is correct and in keeping with the general condition of the automobile, one must assume that it represents mileage from initial delivery. This vehicle has been exceptionally maintained during its lifetime prior to the refurbishment and that no expense has been spared in authenticity of the restoration. All of the original chrome trim, grille, headlight surrounds, side trim, window trim and tail light panels are in good original or NOS condition with no collision damage or parts missing.  The paint finish is properly applied with no imperfections and the interior is fitted perfectly as is the vinyl top. All glass is free of blemishes and cracks, and the window operating mechanisms are all fully functional. The ulterior is in NOS original vinyl with the carpets showing no signs of wear All components fit and function as new, and the exceptional condition of the interior, trunk and underhood show that exceptional care has been taken in restoring the vehicle at this point in its life. With all the optional accessories added to this vehicle the result is an eye catching, carefully detailed example of the marque for the final year of the first series Road Runner body style.

The fit and finish of all components both mechanically and appearance wise are exceptional for a vehicle of this age and confirms the fact that this vehicle has never seen the harsh Canadian winter. The car is in essence in between #1 and #2 condition. The general appearance of this car has been maintained by the careful retention and/or replacement of the original components. Since the 440 six pak series in the Road Runner model is quite popular to the era, this will only enhance its value in the years to come, owing to the fact that in the 39 years since its original assembly, fewer and fewer examples of the marque continue to exist with only 3,939 produced in both the 69 and 70 model years.

This car has been appraised at well over $100,000 by N . H . SALTER ENTERPRISES Inc. Automobile Insurance Appraisals on April 29 2009 and comes with the appraisal certificate.

For more info on this car call me on my cell Chris at 416-875-3430 or at my place of business 905-479-7383 I'm asking $125,000 and it is well worth every penny, the car can ONLY appreciate from here so it's a great investment.
