Question for Bob G Down Under

Hi Marston,

This is directed to Bob G.'s wife who has so many incredibly beautiful orchids (or anyone else who knows what to do). I have one (1). I just wondered if she knew what I should do at this point. My orchid (phalaenopsis) bloomed last year but when it was finished blooming I did not cut the old stem off. This year on two of the nodes, leaves are growing instead of flowers with nice roots starting on them. My question is what to do now. Should I just cut them off the main plant and pot them or should I somehow pot them while they are still attached to the Mother plant and then cut them off much later once they are established??(sort of like we do with strawberry runners)

Thanks,

Margaret W.

Thanks Margaret
