Gwynneth (Thomas) Hunt

HUNT, Gwynneth (nee Thomas) Suddenly at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, in Burlington , Ontario on Tuesday October 20, 2009, Gwynneth Hunt in her eighty-fourth year. Beloved wife of the late Terry Hunt. Much loved mother of Joanna Hunt of Kanata (Ottawa), Steven Hunt of Montreal and the late Tessa Hunt. Dear aunt of David Thomas and Hazel Crank and her husband Russell, great-aunt to Wes and Amy, all of Ashton-under-Lyne, England. Predeceased by her brother, Robert Thomas. Gwynneth's 'joie de vivre' was an inspiration to all who knew her, and belied her eighty-three years. Her many passions included travel, line dancing, and theatre. She truly lived life to the fullest, and will be terribly missed by family and all her friends. In accordance with Gwynneth's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Gathering to Celebrate Gwynneth's Life will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, (One stoplight north of QEW) BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Tuesday October 27, 2009 from 3 to 5 p.m. with a Sharing of Memories at 4 p.m. If desired, expressions of sympathy to the Burlington Humane Society or Carpenter Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.

Gwen and Terry were avid bowlers from the Park who bowled in The Friday night League at Champion Lanes back in the 60's and 70's along with a lot of our parents and some of us.

Thanks Ralph B.
