Our grand daughter in conversation with her father.......It has taken me a long time to determine the pecking order in our house, unfortunately it only took a 6yr old to remind me of my diminished role.
ABBY -Mum said I get an allowance for helping you with the garbage.
BRAD -What do I get?
ABBY -You get my help.
BRAD -That's not what I meant. If you get an allowance for doing the garbage then what should I get?
ABBY -I dunno ask Mum, maybe she'll give you an allowance.
