Remembrance Day Stories

Hi Marty,

One last Remembrance Day item for this year. Private George Lawrence Price born in Port William, Kings County Nova Scotia is acknowledged to be the last allied soldier to be killed in the First World War. In the French village of Ville-sur-Haine he was shot by a German sniper and died at 10:58 am , two minutes before the armistice "cease fire" on Nov.11th 1918.

Thanks John
