Viruses

Date: Thu, 19 Nov 2009 12:52:11 -0800

I try never pass on e-mails unless I have personally checked with snopes.com as to their integrity.

For this one, see http://www.snopes.com/computer/virus/ups.asp

Not sure what to do if you get a message like this, other than phone their office to verify before opening anything on line.

This is going to present a real problem at this time of year as many will receive parcels via UPS/FEDEX or DSL.

I am not sure whether USPS or Canada Post have been targeted, but PayPal has already.

This virus now circulating is the UPS/Fed Ex Delivery Failure.

You will receive an email from UPS/Fed Ex Service along with a packet number...

It will say that they were unable to deliver a package that was sent to you on such-and-such a date.

It then asks you to print out the invoice copy attached.

DON'T TRY TO PRINT THIS. IT LAUNCHES THE VIRUS!

This virus has already caused Millions of dollars in damage.

PAYPAL IS ALSO AFFECTED:
