Flashback - February 23, 2006
One of the things we enjoy most about the prairies is its diversification. Many people who travel west from Winnipeg, generally only see what is on the long, tedious, flat and often boring # 1 Transcanada Highway. While it is the fastest route, in most cases travelers often miss what are the most interesting and endearing of these three unique Canadian provinces.
Here are some examples. A Chinook wind blowing over from the Crows Nest Pass west of Lethbridge, A wonder world of hore- frost caused by a sudden temperature change at Dawn Valley, Stony Plain, west of Edmonton and the clear morning sun rise over the semi desert of Cypress Country, Medicine Hat.
