Space weather can change the ionizing radiation on polar aircraft flights, disable satellites, cause power grid failures, and disrupt global positioning system, television, and telecommunications signals.

NASA released the first photos taken by the Solar Dynamic Observatory. These are never before seen solar actions that affect Earth and its atmosphere. The SDO will provide scientists with new data on how to predict a wide variety of weather patterns, solar interruptions and will provide Infrared (IR) views into the Earth..... whoa.... bitchen man
